Possibly the most time consuming thing that has ever happened to me.

After not being able to handle one more second of Sammi and Ronnie’s fights, I took a brief intermission from Jersey Shore season 2 to begin the grand venture that is; Laguna Beach and The Hills. Maybe I can handle some of the Kristin –Stephen- LC love triangle drama?

I’m not the same person I was a year ago.

I have a lot on my mind,

But I’m not sure how to put it all into words.

You hate to love finding out who your real friends are.

It is a curious thing how time changes us.

There are friends that a year ago, I could not picture my life without.

Where to begin?! It’s been the craziest  month of my life!

I live in Chatham Square about seven miles from Disney World.

It really is the most magical place on earth.

Something amazing happens every time I go.

Speaking of mission calls………

Darren got his call today! He skyped me and he, pretend opened/re-read, his call to me! Elder Darren Michael Later has been called to serve in the Mexico Hermosillo Mission! So then…the moment of truth, “Darren…when do you leave…?” I was wondering if I really wanted to know or not! Then, he said it, “August 24th.” To which I replied, “Shut the front door! I’ll be home from Disney World!”

Yay! I get to go to his farewell! So happy that I have such amazing friends! Imagine all the things I would never have learned, and all the people I would not even know existed if I just stayed in St. George. Can you just remember how scared I was to leave?!

I love my life. I honestly do. For the first time ever, I am totally content with the way things in my life are going. I know that the Lord has a plan for me,  and I am content to sit and enjoy the ride. I know whatever it is that He  has planned for me is better than anything I could come up with by myself, so I have total and complete faith in Him:   As it should be.

You know how on Christmas people get Turtle Doves? Well, Darren loves turtles. So me and Tiffy were thinking one day…why don’t me, Tiffy, Garrett and Darren have Turtle Loves?! So we went to the dollar store and bought some turtles! We each have one, and now no matter where we go in the world; Romania, Paris, Florida, (Unknown mission call location), we will always be together, because we have our Turtle Loves. We will be friends forever, because we love each other, and we get each other, and we’re always there for each other. Saying goodbye to them (temporarily) will be hard, but, we have our turtle loves to always remind us that we’re friends. Man, I sure do love college.

This week,

Thought it has been stressful, has been fun. I’ve learned quite a bit this week actually: Sometimes, the Lord is going to prompt you to do something that you don’t necessarily want to do. But ,no matter how much you don’t want to do that thing, He needs you to do it. If you are righteous enough to be the hands of the Lord, you can’t deny what you know is right. And sometimes, even though you know that you did the right thing…people might not be happy with that decision, they might even hate you for it. But never doubt yourself, for you know that the Lord prompted you do to His work on this earth, have faith, and know you did what He needed you to do. Even if things don’t turn out the way you thought they would, trust in Him, he knows the reason for all things. You may never see the effect you had, but He has a plan, and you may have helped push things along. Be at peace.

The best cupcake I have ever had.

Cocoa Bean’s Ultimate Brownie cupcake. I literally could not finish the entire thing, which is a rarity for me. Brownie, vanilla cake, marshmallows, chocolate frosting and gold sprinkles.

Well I made it through the week.

However I forgot to tell you about Justin Bieber’s birthday party on Tuesday!

Well for starters I made a “Happy 17th Birthday Justin Bieber” video and posted it on Youtube. It’s a little embarrassing, but I just might post it on here too. Then the girls (left to right: Chelsey England, Me, Katherine Fleming (Taff), and Tiffany Barton.)

Then, we went out for cupcakes at Cocoa Bean! They are seriously the best cupcakes I have ever had in my life! When I got home, someone (clearly a boy) had doorbell ditched a plate of “Happy 17th Birthday Justin Bieber” brownies! I love my life.

Then Tiff&Taff had a JB jam session, After which Darren did, I mean helped me with my math project! It was definitely a good Justin Bieber’s birthday!

Story time: We were about to jam out to JB when I get a tweet from Ryan Buell that says “Live video chat in 5 minutes!” So. . .I FREAKED out! We all screamed, logged onto twitter and proceeded to the video chat, where you could see Ryan and he could see questions that people were typing into the “chat ” section of the web page. I start typing my fingers off!  I ask him things like, “When is your next book going to come out?!” or “Can you shake a ghost’s hand?!” The most nerve-wracking part is watching him read the questions and then the anticipation to see if  he actually reads YOUR question and answers it! So he pauses. ..starts reading questions. . .and then says, “Can you shake a ghost’s hand?. . .”  We scream, naturally. He answers the question and then we keep typing questions.

Finally Taff is like, “Ask him if  he likes Justin Bieber!”  So I type, ”Moment of truth, how do you feel about Justin Bieber?” He’s reading, he’s reading. . .”Ahh, I don’t exactly have Bieber Fever, but I mean his songs are fun and catchy. I do like that 4G commercial with Ozzy Osbourne though! “What’s a Bieber?” Haha but I would be concerned if an almost 30 year old had the fever.” Yes, I got Ryan Buell to talk about Justin Bieber, amazing.

Overall, OBVIOUSLY an amazing week!

You wouldn’t think it was possible, but she makes my day. . .everyday! She is such a good friend and she always knows how to cheer me up. She cares. She inspires me.

What I learned in Geology today:

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it…

But I have the best friends in the world. I am so blessed to be where I am today. I know that this is where I am supposed to be and that the Lord has put me here for a reason. I love my life and am so grateful for the people in it. Tonight: Darren’s  basketball game, Ice-cream and sherbet, Youtube videos. We’re trying to think of a funny video to make. (I have some videos from tonight, can’t decide if I am going to post them. . .stay tuned.) I showed Garrett some of mine and Kamryn’s videos, he loved them. I will miss him when he goes on his mission, but I’m so happy that he made the decision to go. I wrote Logan a letter, he  got it on Sunday, so I am anxiously awaiting a reply. . .hopefully I get one. He is my first missionary friend! And soon, I’ll have two more!

I am blessed.

BYU-Idaho…it just rocks.

I’m in college and we still have party days. I show up to math and there are cake, cookies and brownies. Life is good. Darren’s team won their game last night so they have another one tonight! I’m so proud of them! Go Swoosh!
